infection control

In addition to excellent patient care, providing a positive open relationship with our patients is one of the ways we stress quality in our dental office. Keeping you informed is part of that commitment. Your health and safety are our number one priority. Therefore, we want to take this opportunity to tell you about the precautions we provide for the treatment of all our patients. We use “universal precautions.” This means that we use the same infection control methods for each patient. These include wearing gloves, masks, and protective eye wear. These also include using instruments and other items that can be disposed of after each use or instruments that can be easily sterilized and reused. Other precautions include the proper disposal of sharp items and other contaminated material as well as cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment in the treatment room before each patient. Our infection control system has been thoroughly designed to provide you with a safe, comfortable dental environment. Our staff members are also thoroughly trained in infection control procedures and are regularly brought up-to-speed as new techniques are developed. We are very proud of our infection control program and are happy to discuss it with you. We strive to provide you with the highest quality services in a safe and comfortable environment.
